The Multimedia Group, home to Joy FM, JoyNews and MyJoyOnline, has been named official media partner for the Ghana Health and Labour Summit 2026, bringing its national broadcast and digital reach to the two-day summit tackling Ghana’s growing talent retention crisis.
The partnership will give the GHL Summit 2026 a powerful national platform, with The Multimedia Group’s radio, television and digital brands providing coverage before, during and after the summit.
Organised by MentaPulse Africa, in collaboration with the University of Ghana Business School, Labour Law Society of Ghana and the Centre for Migration Studies, the second annual GHL Summit takes place at the University of Ghana on 8–9 October under the theme ‘Work and Wellness: Mobilising to Fix Ghana’s Talent Retention Crisis’.
The partnership is intended to extend the impact of the summit beyond the conference room, helping to turn discussions between policymakers, employers, workers and other stakeholders into a wider national conversation about the future of work in Ghana.

Francis Fiifi Koomson, General Manager, Joy Brands, The Multimedia Group, said: “Joy Brands has always supported platforms that advance important national conversations, and the Ghana Health and Labour Summit comes at a critical time for Ghana’s workforce. Talent retention, employee wellbeing and the future of work affect every sector of our economy.
“We are pleased to bring the strength of our newsrooms and platforms to this important conversation and to give our audiences an opportunity to engage with the issues, ideas and solutions emerging from the summit.”
The Multimedia Group will support GHL Summit 2026 across its pre-Summit publicity, live and on-the-ground reporting, and post-Summit coverage, including reporting on the summit’s Communiqué and policy recommendations.
Manuel Koranteng, Executive Director of MentaPulse Africa and Convenor of the Ghana Health and Labour Summit 2026, said: “For a summit focused on one of the most pressing challenges facing Ghana’s workforce, the conversation cannot end when delegates leave the conference room. The Multimedia Group’s reach gives us an opportunity to take these discussions to millions of people and ensure that the experiences and ideas shared at the summit become part of a much wider national conversation.

“This partnership is particularly significant because GHL Summit is designed not simply as a conference, but as a platform for evidence, advocacy and action. We want the issues raised, the commitments made and the solutions proposed to reach policymakers, employers, workers and the wider public across Ghana and beyond.”
