Dr. Dansoah Nuamah is a Ghanaian psychiatrist and global health leader with extensive experience in clinical practice, mental health education, advocacy, and healthcare leadership. Over the past decade, she has worked at the intersection of clinical excellence and health policy, championing initiatives that promote mental well-being in both healthcare and workplace settings.
She has spearheaded national awareness campaigns and coordinated workplace well-being programs that support employees’ mental health. Her work has emphasized the importance of reducing stigma, building resilience, and creating supportive environments that enable employees to thrive.
Dr. Nuamah is an alumna of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, holding an MSc in Global Health Management from Imperial College London. She is also a recipient of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) Impact Award, through which she designed and implemented an award-winning inclusive mental health education initiative. Her career reflects a strong commitment to expanding access to quality mental health services through innovation, advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration.
