Research and Advocacy Officer, Ghana NCDs Alliance
Godfred Tweneboah Kodua is a Public Health Advocate, Policy Analyst, and Research Scientist with expertise in NCDs and their major risk factors, including unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, tobacco use, and alcohol consumption. He serves as the Research and Policy Officer at the Ghana NCD Alliance and the Research and Policy Manager at the Vision for Accelerated Sustainable Development (VAST Ghana), where he leads national advocacy and research initiatives on NCD prevention, control, and sustainable health financing.
Godfred’s work focuses on creating and sustaining healthy environments that promote nutritious diets, encourage physical activity, and eliminate exposure to health-harming products. He has been instrumental in advancing evidence-based advocacy campaigns, including tobacco taxation reforms, alcohol control, and food policy interventions that support population health and productivity.
